FAQs

Do I have to book?
No, just turn up between 10 and 4pm on our open days.

How much is it?

Free entry, free parking, just pay for your pumpkins which are £1-£15 each.

Are there quieter times?
Quieter times tend to be 10am-11am and after 3pm. Saturdays are our busiest days, but this can be weather dependant.

Cash or card are accepted.

Can I bring my dog?
We love dogs, but sadly they cannot enter the pumpkin patch as the crop is
considered food. Well-behaved dogs may come onto the car park field so long as they are on a lead.

Do you grow the pumpkins in the field?
All our pumpkins are grown right here in Goldhanger. The pumpkin patch has natural pumpkins which grow on the vines which you can see when you visit. There are other varieties for sale at the pumpkin patch which we bring in from different fields, but they are all grown by us. We cut the vines for you so they are easy to pick up.

Can you eat the pumpkins?
All the varieties we grow are edible if they are cooked. We can advise you on the best varieties for eating when you visit.

What shall we wear?
Cobbs farm is a real working farm with mud, puddles, and heaps of fresh air. Please dress according to the weather and you might want to bring something to put your muddy boots in when you get back to the car.

Are there any snacks?
Tasha's Tasty Treats will be here on the 14th -15th, 24th, 25th and 26th October serving her scrumptious homemade cakes and making hot and cold drinks

The wonderful Wildest Rumpus will be running their pop-up café, This will be the 20th, 22nd, 23rd then 27th, 28th and 29th October
